Filipinos drooling to have Apple iPhone X first will have to wait until Apple made its flagship available in the Philippines. Today (November 3), the company officially makes the bezel-less $1,000 iPhone available in the U.S. and other major markets.
But for those who want to be among the firsts to receive the iPhone X can pre-order in a third-party online retailer in the Philippines. Just how much the 10th anniversary edition of the iPhone costs here is another question.
The price of the iPhone X in the Philippines more than doubled to Php90,000 for the 64GB variant. The 256GB unit shoots up to Php105,000.
Preordering the iPhone X in the Philippines can be made through Widget City starting today.
In the U.S., the $1,000 iPhone X was sold out in just ten minutes.
The latest handset features a full-screen OLED display, wireless charging, and dual cameras with improved depth sensing. It also marks for the first time that Apple will ditch its touch sensor for the whole new face recognition unlock system called Face ID.
It will be recalled the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were also sold pretty hefty too when it became available in the gray market. It was selling for nearly Php100,000 back in the days.
